Tranquil, peaceful sleep is essential for the body to rejuvenate. The body repairs itself at night. Because of the important biological processes that go on during the night, It’s important to get a good night’s sleep to allow the body uninterrupted time to do this. In order to function properly during the day, we need a good night’s rest. There is ample evidence that EMFs can disrupt sleep, sometimes dramatically for many people.

You may not even remember when you were able to get a good night’s sleep, when you fell asleep within minutes, did not wake up until the alarm clock or the cat woke you in the morning, and felt refreshed and ready for the day. That is good quality sleep that can be recaptured again once the body is free from the electrical tugging and prodding during the night.

If there is one place in the house where there should be no electronics, the bedroom is such a place. A sleep sanctuary involves making a place that is as close to nature as possible in a modern home. Sometimes it is as simple as using a battery powered alarm clock or moving a bed to the other side of the room, and sometimes it is a little more.

Safe Tech in Schools
One of the spaces in our communities with the highest EMFs are the schools. There is an erroneous assumption that all laptops, tablets, and cell phones are perfectly safe. In August of 2021, a Federal Court ruled that the FCC cannot claim that any wireless device is safe after the court viewed over 11,000 studies to the contrary, showing harm. The court stated that the FCC had “capriciously” looked at these studies and continued on without doing anything to address exposure standards.

Smartboards and wireless speakers are frequently used in the classroom and can contribute to headache, poor concentration, hyperactivity, nausea, bloody noses, runny noses, and vomiting. In actuality, our kids are being bathed in hazardous levels of RF. They are also being exposed to high levels of high frequency currents called dirty electricity on the power lines. Those two EMFs are some of the biggest issues in schools.

There are safer ways to use technology. Favoring hard wired connections and lowering power output of wifi access points, turning off the wifi when not in use, and eliminating IoT devices. These practices would lower the microwave radiation students are exposed to considerably.

As a public school teacher for 21 years, I saw a rise in the number of bloody noses, stomach aches and nausea in students as the number of wireless devices began to be used in the curriculum. As an electrosensitive individual, I learned how to remediate those levels and stay safe using the protection given under the Americans With Disabilities Act. This act requires accommodations for those being affected by the wireless fields. My classroom portable had a wireless access point that was turned off. I required all students to turn off their cell phones. When we needed access to the internet system, we went once or twice a week to a wireless classroom. An analogy to cheap fast food is appropriate where the wifi is like cheap fast food. It is cheap, but it does harm to our bodies. The real smart technology is a hard-wired connection that allows access to the internet without the risks associated with microwave radiation.
